夜幕低垂，星辰点缀在天际。小城边上的一家旅店里，一个名叫李明的司机正在准备离开。他是那种经常跑长途的司机，从不怕黑，也不怕孤单。然而今晚，他却感到一丝不安。

他把行李箱放进车内，然后坐在驾驶座上，启动了引擎。一路上，虽然没有遇到什么特别的事情，但他的心情还是有些沉重。他习惯于这种感觉，因为每当夜深人静时，他总会有一种预感——这条路上有鬼。

突然，一阵微风吹过，车窗外出现了一道幽蓝色的身影。那是一位穿着古老服饰的女子，她站在路边似乎在等待什么。李明的心跳加速，他下意识地踩下了刹车。但奇怪的是，那女子并没有朝他们看来，而是继续站着看着前方的某个方向。

“这是怎么回事？”李明自言自语。他环顾四周，但除了那女子以外，没有其他人的影子。这时候，那女子转头对上了他的眼睛。她眼中透露出一种悲伤和无助，让人忍不住想去安慰她。

“您好，我可以帮忙吗？”李明试图开口，但话音刚落，那女子就消失了。在她的身后，是一片漆黑的树林。李明犹豫了一下，然后决定跟过去看看究竟发生了什么事情。

他停好了车，用手机照亮周围环境，然后缓缓走进树林。那女孩已经不见踪影，只留下了一张纸条在地面上。“请不要追随我的脚步。”纸条上的字迹潦草而坚定。不知为何，这句话让李明心里涌起一股难以言喻的情绪。

就在这时，一辆旧货卡车从黑暗中冒出，它在发动机声中发出刺耳的声音，把整个夜空都震得颤抖起来。而那女孩，却再次出现在视野之中。她站在卡车旁，与其-driver交谈着，就像是在讨论一些重要的事宜一样。但是，当那个男人看到Li Ming时，他脸色变得狰狞，不敢置信地看着这个突然出现的人物。

"你...你怎么会知道这里？" 那个男人问道，同时紧紧握住方向盘。

"I don't know." Li Ming replied, feeling a chill run down his spine. "But I have to ask you something."

"What is it?" The man asked warily.

"Why are you driving at night? And why are there so many strange occurrences happening around here?"

The driver looked at him with a mixture of confusion and fear. "I... I don't know what you're talking about," he lied.

"You do," Li Ming said firmly. "And I need the truth."

The driver hesitated for a moment before speaking up. "Alright, alright..." He sighed heavily before continuing on in a low voice, "It's true that this road has been plagued by strange occurrences lately... But we can't just stop driving because of that!"

"That's not what I'm asking," Li Ming pressed on insistently. "What are these 'strange occurrences' exactly? And how did they start?"

The driver swallowed hard before answering reluctantly, "...We've seen ghostly apparitions appearing along the road at night... Some drivers even reported hearing eerie whispers or seeing shadowy figures lurking in the darkness..."

"But why?" Li Ming asked again and again until he was convinced that he had heard enough.

"It started after one fateful night when an old truck carrying goods from this very town collided with another vehicle on its way back from some distant place," the driver explained solemnly. "Both trucks were completely destroyed in the crash, leaving nothing but debris behind."

"So what happened to those who were inside?" Li Ming probed further into the mystery.

"We don't know," The driver admitted helplessly as tears began streaming down his face uncontrollably now.
