一ided by an investment of 200,000 yuan and technical support, they established Beijing Creative Times Information Technology Co., Ltd. in July 2014 and set up shop in the Zhongguancun Creative Park. The company's platform, "Fruitful," was based on both a website and a WeChat public account, offering users fresh fruit delivered same-day upon ordering.
Initially focusing on students at the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE), "Fruitful" later expanded to other universities such as China Agricultural University and Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. Despite facing stiff competition from rival apps with significantly larger budgets, Ning Shuaihao persevered through price wars and trademark disputes to keep his business alive.
In recent months, Ning Shuaihao has adapted to new challenges by shifting focus towards large residential communities like Tianyuan Village North Gate instead of school campuses. He now operates out of a gold cup van that he uses to transport fruits from wholesale markets directly to customers' homes or designated pick-up points within these communities.
Despite setbacks along the way, Ning Shuaihao remains steadfast in his pursuit for success. His ultimate goal is still to list Fruitful on Nasdaq – even if it means starting anew from scratch at a small fruit stand once again. As he puts it: “No matter how difficult the journey may be or how far we fall short of reaching Nasdaq, entrepreneurs are always happy while enduring pain.”
