在一个寒冷的冬日早晨,街上行人匆匆,而我却被一位老翁吸引了。他的身影小巧,手里紧握着一把看似已经用得不新鲜的小铲子,背后还拉着一个装满炭块的小车。他穿的是一件破旧的棉袄,一顶形状有些古怪的帽子,看起来像是几十年前的款式。
他眼神坚定地看着前方,不时抬起头来打量四周。每当有人走近,他就会露出温和而又期待的笑容,嘴角微微上扬。他并没有直接说话,但那种对待熟悉朋友般亲切的声音透过呼呼吹来的风传到了我的耳边:“再要点儿。”
随着他的话语,我发现自己也跟着向他走去。我知道这个“卖炭翁”并不只是个普通的地主之类,他背后的故事比这更为复杂。可能是因为岁月沉淀让他变得更加谦逊,也可能是因为生活给予了太多磨难,让他学会了珍惜那些看似无足轻重的事物。

sells charcoal, and his name is Old Zhang. He has been selling charcoal for over 30 years. Every time he sees a customer coming, he would smile warmly and say "a bit more" even though they have already bought enough from him.
Old Zhang's life is not easy. He wakes up early every morning to go to the coal mine, works hard all day long, and then walks back home in the evening with his heavy load of charcoal. Despite all this hardship, he never complains or loses his temper.
One day, I saw Old Zhang sitting on a bench by the riverbank. He looked tired but peaceful. I went up to him and asked why he was sitting there instead of going home to rest. He smiled at me and said that after working so hard all day long, it felt good just to sit down for a while.
I sat down next to him and we started talking about our lives. We talked about how difficult it was to make ends meet these days, how much things had changed since we were young... But despite everything we talked about, Old Zhang never lost his sense of humor or his kindness towards others.
